Natural Hazards Around Us

Reading Activity

Sometimes, nature can act in surprising and dangerous ways. These events are called natural hazards. They can happen anywhere and can affect people, animals, and the environment. On our islands, we often face natural hazards like torrential rain, cyclones, and flash floods. It is important to know what they are and how to stay safe when they happen.

Below is a flash card activity where you will discover the different natural hazards affecting people and the environment.

There is also an activity on one of the natural hazards you have learnt, which is 'Cyclones'.
