Le son [wa] peut s’écrire de différentes façons :

oi → roi, moi, poisson, étoile
oie → joie, proie, foie
oit → doit, exploit, droit
ois → bois, trois, mois
oix → noix, choix, croix
 

Peu importe l’orthographe, la prononciation reste la même : [wa].
