the World Together Early Digital Learning Programme is a friendship project between the Government of India and the Government of Mauritius.
EDLP is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Mauritius under the Nine-Year Continuous Basic Education (NYCBE) reforms. Transforming Learning
Shaping Future Early Digital Learning Programme aims at integration of digital technology into teaching and learning of pupils in the primary education. It promotes an early culture of IT use and practice in ways suitable to pupils’ developmental level to improve learning outcomes. Pedagogical Paradigm Shift Early Digital Learning Programme is meant to develop a new culture of learning by ushering in new pedagogies relevant to the digital era and technological world at school level. The programme is being implemented with the primary objective to develop Digital Literacy right at the beginning of the schooling life of the learners and to enable them for the 21st century education standards.
