FAQ’s-Rack Charger

All the Timers in the Rack Chargers are configured with the timings instructed by the Ministry for the charging of Tablets, which is currently 7:30 AM TO 9:00 AM & 3:30 PM TO 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday).

Step 1: Turn OFF the switch & remove the Power Cord from the Power socket.

Step 2: Turn OFF the Main Circuit Breaker of the connected EDLP equipments.

Step 3: Kindly contact EDLP Service Centre and request for Urgent attention in resolving the issue.

At times, there will be burning kind of smell generated from the Rack Charger, as 20 Tablets are charging at the same time. Due to this, more heat is generated inside the Rack Charger and it smells like burning smell.

In order to dissipate this heat, there are (2) Fans in the Rack Charger, which keeps on dissipating the heat produced in the Rack Charger.

It is used for retaining the door alignment and to hold the door.

Step 1: Check the power socket for the availability of the electricity supply, to which the Rack Charger Power cord is plugged in.

Step 2: Check the power cable if it is well plugged with the rack charger or not and if the switch is “ON” or not.

Step 3: Check, if the Power Cable is well inserted into the Electrical panel, present at the back side of the Rack Charger.

Step 4: Check if the MCB is “ON” or not in the electrical panel.

Step 5: Check the power switch whether the switches are “ON” or not on the electrical panel.

Step 6: Verify if the Timer LED is ON.

Step 7: If the Timer LED is OFF, press the Manual button once to switch the Timer from Auto Mode to ON mode. At this stage, the Fan again should be turning ON.

If there is issue with any of the steps given above, kindly contact the EDLP Zonal Service Centre.

All the above mentioned steps are need to be performed by the trained ICTSO staff only. And safety precautions to be taken by the ICTSO while accessing to the back door and electrical panel of the Rack Charger.
